Ghana’s Black Stars B captain Shafiu Mumuni has assured Ghanaians of bringing the WAFU trophy home ahead of the grand-Finale against host Nation Senegal.
According to the skipper, everything is in order at camp and they are looking forward to the game on Sunday at 8pm.
“I believe in myself and my colleagues and I assure Ghanaians that we will bring the trophy home on Sunday”, Mumuni told the media at training today.
The Ashantigold marksman won the Man of the Match {MoTM) award in their semi-final clash against rivals Côte d’Ivoire.
Ghana won the previous edition on home soil two years ago and are itching to retain the trophy when they take on Senegal in this year’s final.
