‘We have a lot of respect for Madagascar’ – Black Stars tactician Chris Hughton

Black Stars gaffer, Chris Hughton says his team respects their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers opponents, Madagascar because they have a lot of good players who are technically up there.

 

 

The Ghana gaffer says their opponents, Madagascar have got a lot of good players in their ranks which has triggered a lot of admiration and respect for them ahead of Sunday’s game in Antananarivo.

“We have big respect for the players. They have a lot of good players in their team and a lot of technically gifted players so as I said, we’ll treat them with respect and we expect a difficult game”, he said.

“If we play to the best of our capabilities, then we know we can get the results, But this is Football”, he noted.

 

“We have trained hard this week and I know the players will be very prepared”, he added.

 

Ghana will play at the next total energies Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast next year January with a win over Madagascar on Sunday.
