‘We know what is at stake’ – Black Meteors deputy captain Ibrahim Danlad on Morocco cliffhanger

Ghana’s Black Meteors deputy skipper Ibrahim Danlad says the team is aware of the consequences of the results against Morocco tonight.

According to him, the team is aware of what to do to secure qualification to the semi-final of the ongoing 2023 CAF U-23 Championship in Morocco.

He says the team knows what is at stake and are aware a win will take them top of the group and secure them a place in the next stage of the tournament.

“We know what is at stake. If we win, we qualify to the next stage of the competition,” he said.

“So, we will just learn from our mistakes from the previous game. We will go all out and concentrate for 90 minutes and we know we will win .”

Ghana beat Congo Brazzaville 3-2 in a dramatic fashion and must avoid defeat the stand a greater chance of progressing to the next stage of the tournament.
