Former Accra Hearts of Oak SC star player, Joe ‘Bobby Short’ Tagoe says Hearts lost to Ethiopian club St. Georges FC because the players had marathon of sex with Ethiopian ladies in the CAF Champions League in Addis Ababa.
A hat-trick from Dawit Mebratu ensured a runway triumph for the Ethiopian club.
St. George had caused a stir in the first round last month with their 1-0 aggregate victory over the Egyptian club ENPPI.
On March 19, 2006 in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian side thrashed Ghana’s giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC 4-0 in the first leg of the qualifiers.
According to the former star in the Ghana Premier League, Hearts players got themselves in marathon of sex which caused the heavy defeat.
“I will tell you guys one secret that caused us dearly when we played St Georges before we overturned the results here in Ghana.”
“we had lots of sex with Ethiopian ladies we saw at our hotel and this really caused us dearly”, Former Hearts midfielder Joe Tagoe via Ashiaman TV.
Hearts scored three goals inside the first 45 minutes and were awarded a spot kick when the visitors left the left and never returned to continue the game.
Hearts recently suffered a humiliating 3-0 loss in Mali to AS Real Bamako in the qualifiers of the CAF Confederation Cup competition which prompted Joe Tagoe to reveal the secret.
The Ghana giant will host the Malian club in Ghana on Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium with a 3-0 deficit.
