Ashantigold midfielder Amos Addai believes the Miners are capable of beating their CAF Confederation Cup opponents Renaissance Sportive Berkane come September 14.
“We are a very solid side and are capable of beating any opponent on our day”, the dribbling gem said in an interview with Dailymailgh.com.
“We know they are a very strong side and also aware of their Togolese striker Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba who won the top-scorer award in the competition last year.
“Beating Asante Kotoko is a morale booster for us the players irrespective of the level of competitiveness of the match and it will serve as a motivation going into the game,” he added.
“Our aim is to make the country proud as well as our supporters and to also write our names in the club’s history”.
The highly rated winger pleaded with the fans of the club and the general public to come to Obuasi and support them to victory against the Moroccan side.
