The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is celebrating its 8th position on the ballot paper for the 2024 presidential election, viewing it as a symbol of their promise to end what they describe as eight years of mismanagement and corruption under the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey expressed confidence that the ballot position marks a turning point for the country,.
“After eight critical years of decay and corruption, the number eight is significant—it’s time to stop the decline and restore order”, Mr Kwetey told the press Friday.
“The country clearly will know those who are doing everything possible to do what is wrong and those who are doing what is right for the sake of Ghana,” he added.
The NPP, on the other hand, secured the number one position in the balloting process conducted at the Electoral Commission’s office in Accra.
