Telecom giants MTN has restored data services in Ghana after a fibre cut glitch a few days ago.
The company posted the status report on Twitter after experiencing downtime for three days.
Customers of the biggest telecom firm in Ghana have vented their anger on twitter and other social media platforms since the data crisis begun.
MTN blamed the situation on undersea fibre cut.
“Connectivity was interrupted over the last two days as a result of a double undersea fibre optic cable cut in Europe which affected six Operators in six West African Countries and beyond. This situation affected our internet services, due specifically to issues with the West Africa Cable System (WACS)”.
