Kano Pillars coach Ibrahim Musa has emphasised they are not afraid of Kotoko and will knock them out of the CAF Champions League.
The Nigerian outfit will host the Ghanaian giants on August 10th in Kano in the first leg of the 2019/2020 CAF Champions league preliminary stage before traveling to Kumasi later for the second round.
Musa said the Porcupine Warriors are only relying on past glories and he will send them packing.
“We are preparing very well because we are going to meet a great team in Ghana,” Musa told Oyerepa FM in Kumasi.
“We are not scared of Kotoko, what you bring presently is more important than success achieved years ago. We are going to do our best, we have a brighter chance of eliminating Asante Kotoko,” he noted.
Kano Pillars will face Niger Tornadoes on Wednesday in the finals of the 2019 Aiteo Cup. The game also serves as part of the preparations towards their game with Kotoko.
