Asante Kotoko are not happy about how they were welcomed in Nigeria ahead of their crunch game against Kano Pillars.

According to the club’s Communications Director, Sarfo Doku, the Porcupine Warriors are discontent with how they have been treated in Nigeria.

“Kotoko are not happy with the Nigerian Football Federation and Kano Pillars management because no one came to welcome the team at the airport ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League game,” Doku said.

The Ghana Premier League giants are presently in Kano and will train at the Sani Abacha Stadium at 16.00 local time.

“The team had a little shake up this morning and will train fully at 3pm Ghana time and 4pm in Nigeria,” he added.

The Fabulous Club will face Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League first round of qualifying games Saturday in Kano.
