‘We’ve corrected our mistakes’ – Black Meteors coach ahead Guinea clash

Ghana’s Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his team has corrected their mistakes ahead of the game against Guinea this evenning at Ibn Batouta Stadium on June 30, 2023.

Ghana lost heavily to hosts, Morocco in their second group game of the 2023 CAF U-23 Championship on Tuesday evening leaving them with just one option against the Guineans.

According to the head coach for the Olympic team of Ghana Ibrahim Tanko, his team has corrected their mistakes made in the game against Morocco and are looking forward to the game this evening at 8pm against Guinea.

“We have watched the last game again and have worked on correcting what went wrong.”

” We have to put it behind us and I think the team is ready for the game tomorrow. The opponent needs only a draw but we know we have to win the game to go into the next stage”.

“We are well psyched mentally and physically to win the game. We had a good training session yesterday and the boys showed me in training that they are ready for a win,” Tanko stated at the pre-match press conference.
