Former Ghana star midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is in disbelief of the current state of Ghana football both at youth and senior level.

The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winner with Ghana’s Black Starlets against Brazil says Ghana football is heading towards a dangerous place.

According to him, the Ghana Football Association must call for an emergency meeting tomorrow and take stock of what’s happening in Ghana footall.

“The GFA needs to organize an emergency meeting tomorrow and take stock of what’s happening. Where our Football is heading is dangerous”, he said on Joy Sports.

Badu, who played at the 2010 CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament where Ghana placed second after losing to Egypt thinks the country’s Football is sinking.

He also played at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals when Ghana was beaten on penalties by their immediate neighbours, La Côte d’Ivoire.

He was part of the 2010 Black Stars team that reached the quarter-final of the FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa and was the lad who scored the final penalty kick to win the 2009 FIFA U-20 World for the first and only time for an African country.
