Yapei: Passengers feared dead as two vehicles catch fire after collision [Photos]

A head-on collision involving a tipper truck and a private car has reportedly claimed the lives of occupants after the vehicles were set ablaze.

The Wednesday incident occurred on the White Volta bridge at Yapei in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region.

Correspondent Zion Abdul Rauf says emergency services —including the police and the fire service have been deployed to the scene.
