Deputy Finance Minister Abena Osei-Asare was honoured by the leadership of the Dean of Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region during a visit to her office last Wednesday (30 November).
She was honoured for her “remarkable efforts and commitment to the growth and development of Ashanti Secretaries and the party grassroots at large”.
“As a Member of Parliament and Deputy Finance Minister, your contributions, support and willingness to support the foundations of the party are worth emulating”, parts of a citation presented to the Atiwa East lawmaker read.
“Your kindness towards party people and the youth is legendary. You are an asset we will forever treasure”.
Beaming with smiles the MP could not hide her excitement stating that the visit “was not only a privilege but also included a thoughtful gesture of presenting me with a citation.”
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated secretaries in the great Ashanti Region. Your hard work and commitment play a crucial role in contributing to the success of our party”, she said.
“I [also] appreciate the collective effort and dedication of each secretary, making a positive impact on our share. Thank you for the honour and for the remarkable work you do!”
