Ghanaian youngster Abdul-Aziz Yakubu has signed a permanent deal with newly promoted Portuguese Primeira Liga side Rio Ave, Dailymailgh.com can confirm.
The Ghanaian forward has signed a three-year contract with Rio Ave tying him to the club until June 2025 after joining from Vitória Guimarães for a fee reported to be 1 million Euros.
Yakubu played a key role to help Rio Ave gain promotion to the Portuguese top-flight after winning the Portuguese Secunda Liga
He scored 11 goals in 33 appearances for the Green and Whites outfit as they regained top-flight football after helping Estoril Praia SAD last season into the top-flight.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward bagged 4 goals in 6 matches for Rio Ave in the Allianz Cup and the Taça de Portugal competitions.
