Youngster Edmund Addo joins Black Stars team ahead of World Cup Qualifier against Nigeria

Youngster Edmond Addo has joined his teammates at the Black Stars camp base on Monday morning ahead of the squad announcement, Dailymailgh.com can confirm.

The Sheriff Tiraspol midfielder is part of the squad to face Nigeria on Friday evening at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

He was part of the Ghana team during the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations tournament hosted in Cameroon when Ghana exited at the group stage.

Hes bbeen a pivot and a consistent performer for Sheri Tiraspol in the Moldovan top-flight scoring one goal and providing two assists.

He dazzled in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League for the Black and Yellows who beat Real Madrid away in Spain.

Ghana and Nigeria will face off twice in the space of four days in a two legged encounter to determine who plays at the next FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
